The smell of eggs, bacon, and pancakes alongside a freshly-brewed black coffee. It doesn’t get better than breakfast food.
Whether you like sweet or savory breakfast food, a good one is always a great way to start another day.
That’s why we listed down and reviewed the best places to get breakfast in Vancouver so you can start your day amazingly.
The Best Places for Breakfast in Vancouver
Now that you know about the price range of each restaurant, let’s now talk about the best places to get breakfast food here in Vancouver.
1. OEB Breakfast Co.

CONTACT NUMBER | (604) 423-3447 |
WEBSITE | https://eatoeb.com/ |
OPERATING HOURS | Monday – Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM |

Quick, what do you think is the quintessential breakfast food for you?
Probably, bacon and eggs, right? Well, let OEB Breakfast Co. serve you a different kind of breakfast food.
The variety of seafood options on their menu let OEB Breakfast Co., deliver a unique and fancy breakfast.
If those dishes are too much for you though, they also offer classic breakfast food such as Croque Madame. These many different dishes in one restaurant will surely make you feel full and ready for the day.
And believe it or not, this restaurant also serves huge dishes! You can just eat your heart’s content here.
If you also want to have this restaurant during your parties, OEB Breakfast Co. also offers catering. And honestly, that’s a good plus for us because who doesn’t want good food shared with family and friends?
Now, we just hope that this breakfast place is open even in the evening, though. Yes, we know that breakfast is eaten during mornings but who doesn’t want breakfast in the evening once in a while?
Another minor nitpick is that their restaurant doesn’t have any wifi available.
What We Recommend: Canadian Lobster & Shrimp Crepe – This savory crepe is such a delight to eat. Although hearing about the ingredients alone, you might think that this is an overwhelming dish but that’s far from the truth.
This one is such a great combination as the crepe is light enough that the fillings aren’t as overwhelming. The hollandaise sauce on the crepe is also the perfect pairing as it adds that creaminess to it.
If there’s one only thing you can eat here, we definitely recommend this dish!
Pros
- Multiple branches in Vancouver
- Offers vegetarian-friendly, gluten-free, and vegan meals
- Reservations available
- Offers take-out and delivery
Cons
- No mention of wheelchair-accessible ramps
- No mention of parking spaces

Customer Reviews
Customers love the friendly staff and delicious breakfast food served:
“Amazing place, the staff were amazingly friendly. The food was delicious and their drink list is to die for. Our drinks took a little bit of time but they gave us waffles on the house! So so nice! A must if you like breakfast.” – Levi Frederick
“I’ve been to this place twice now, and it hasn’t disappointed yet. Super creative menu that caters to both the breakfast, brunch, and lunch crowd. Exceptional views of the marina and water in Yaletown. I highly recommend the perogies and duck – one of the better dishes I’ve had in a while. The photos attached are of our recent breakfast experience: Croquet Madam and Banana Cream Pie French Toast. Great dishes but I’d try something new next time. We normally sit outside on the patio so I can’t comment much on the atmosphere inside. Service is always top notch.” – Carlo Thirtytwo
2. Breakfast Table
SERVICES | Dine-in Takeouts Delivery |

WEBSITE | https://www.breakfasttable.ca/ |

Breakfast Tables is a cozy breakfast restaurant in South Granville. Going here feels like dropping in a friend’s house and just eating breakfast together.
They don’t serve just any breakfast food here, though. Breakfast Table actually specializes in Asian-Western fusion dishes that might seem out of place for breakfast food but trust us, they make it work.
Aside from their meat-based food, Breakfast Table also offers vegetarian dishes.
More than that, they also cater to people with gluten allergies as they offer many gluten-free dishes. No more getting left-out when you go to a brunch place here.
The restaurant is also PWD friendly as it’s wheelchair accessible, which is a big plus for us.
However, a downside for this restaurant for us is that they lack any advanced reservation feature. That means that getting a table here will be all up to your luck on that day.
Another downside for us is that there’s no option for bike parking here. So, we can’t just ride our bike on the way here, or just stop here when out biking.
What We Recommend: Chicken Karaage Hash – This is one of the highlights of the Breakfast Table for us!
The karaage is paired with eggs and potatoes, topped with sweet chilli sauce. It has that delicious and complex set of flavors due to the addition of seaweed.
We definitely recommend this if you want something heavy to start your day.
Pros
- Parking available
- Has wheelchair-accessible facilities
- Take-out and delivery available
Cons
- Only open until 2PM on weekdays and 3PM on weekends
- No option for advanced reservations
- No bike parking
Customer Reviews
Here’s what previous customers love about Breakfast Table:
“Probably the best breakfast in Vancouver. Lots of options for a healthy start (or not so healthy … think French toast) to your day. I had the Hipster Benedict and my daughter chicken karaage hash (which she orders every time). Perfectly cooked side of vegetables. After breakfast we lasted a good ten hours without another meal AND walked 19,000 steps. 😆” – Barbara Havrot
“My friend and I came here for her birthday. She wanted to sit on the back patio, so we ended up waiting for a bit, but it was worth it!. The space was beautiful and relaxing. The food was great, and the portions were huge for the price. Would definitely go again!” – Daniela Furland
3. Twisted Fork
SERVICES | Dine-in Takeouts |
ADDRESS | 213 Carrall St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2J2, Canada |
CONTACT NUMBER | (604) 568-0749 |
WEBSITE | https://forkandfriends.ca/ |
OPERATING HOURS | Thursday – Monday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM Tuesday – Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM |

If there’s a word to describe the food at Twisted Fork, it would be comforting. It’s a nice and chill restaurant that serves familiar comfort food.
Don’t underestimate them though, the familiar food here is just delicious and above others. Trust us, no matter what you choose in their menu, we’re sure that it would be great.
You won’t leave hungry at this restaurant too. The portions are big and other customers have also confirmed that they have generous serving here.
Another thing that’s great about this restaurant is that they have a great selection of wine. So, if you want to go out with your friends and eat brunch, you can order wine to make your day livelier.
However, just be aware that their brunch menu is only available until 3:00 PM, so you won’t get any from their breakfast menu if you visit anytime after that.
We honestly wish they serve their brunch menu the whole day because the food here is just fantastic.
You can also enjoy a nice day outside as Twisted Fork has outdoor seating. So, if you feel like the restaurant is too crowded, you can choose to sit outside instead.
They also don’t take any reservations so you might have to wait for a while before you can even get a table.
What We Recommend: Eggs Benny – Served on a brioche bun, the eggs benedict here is amazing.
Although it’s a classic breakfast food, Twisted Fork still managed to elevate it and made it better. The eggs are cooked well and the beans and hash on the side are a great pairing to this dish.
Pros
- Outdoor seating is available
- Wine is available for brunch
- They have vegan options on their menu
Cons
- The brunch menu is only available from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- They don’t accept advanced reservations
- Closes early on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Customer Reviews
Based on the reviews, the customers of Twisted Fork not only praise their food but also the staff and their coffee:
“This place is awesome, great ambiance, impeccable customer service and delicious coffee and food. One of the best brunches in town for sure! Everything we ordered was incredible, the table we sat looked tiny but it was actually very comfortable and the service was just so great! Thanks guys 😍” – Maria Mainart
“The service is amazing and friendly. They really understand how to make brunch a fun experience. The eggs benny I ate was so perfect. Crispy bread. Perfectly cooked eggs. Even something as simple as potatoes they have elevated to perfection in a delicious potato cake. Great presentation. It is definitely my new top brunch spot. I highly recommend anyone try this out when you visit gastown. And a great selection of brunch drinks” – Nick Falvo

Time travel to the 60s at Templeton Restaurant. This diner restaurant will make you feel like you’re back in the 60s with their jukebox and overall aesthetic.
Of course, due to its retro theme, you can choose whether to sit at the bar or the counter. No matter what you choose though, the staff here will serve your food with a smile.
But the atmosphere is not the only thing this diner has. Do you really think we’ll include Templeton Restaurant in a list of Vancouver’s top breakfast places to go to when it doesn’t have amazing food?
Saying that the food here is great might even be an understatement. They offer good, hearty breakfast meals that’s just a perfect way to start your day.
Just make sure to order coffee too just to get that whole retro diner atmosphere!
Another thing we love about this restaurant is that breakfast is served all day from Wednesday to Sunday! No need to wait anymore until the next day just to order a breakfast meal when craving breakfast late at night.
Naturally, this is a fairly popular restaurant here. So, it can be crowded at times and you might have to wait for a while during peak hours.
Although, if you ask us, that waiting is worth it.
Another downside about this restaurant is that The Templeton doesn’t offer deliveries. So, if you’re craving one of their brunch meals, well tough luck, as they won’t be able to deliver.
What We Recommend: Big-ass Breakfast – The Big-ass breakfast here is actually huge.
With three eggs, bacon (or veggie bacon if you prefer that), a choice of pancakes or french toast, and a side of rosemary potatoes. This will surely be enough to fill you up until dinner.
The combination evokes that nostalgic bacon, eggs and pancake breakfast for us. Although the dish here is just much more generous than what we probably used to eat at home.
Pros
- Great interior design
- All-day breakfast from Wednesday until Sunday
- Offers vegan and vegetarian options
Cons
- Gets crowded during peak hours
- Doesn’t offer delivery
- Doesn’t have a drive-thru

“This is such an amazing breakfast spot (though I think they offer lunch, we came fir breakfast). The retro diner look is very cool. Love the vibe here. On the menu, they claim to source ingredients for local farms/vendors which I found incredible. Regular breakfast food tastes extra delicious here! Definitely recommend a visit.” – Debbie Lu
“Very cool vibe, great food and great service. My go to place when I get hungry. A call out to the waitress Eve who is very attentive and makes an awesome milkshake!” – Ashif Suleman

Customer Reviews
Here are some reviews from their customers:
“Had a lovely brunch here on Sunday 🙂 The place opens at 8AM and the nearby parking meters are free until 9AM so it’s very easy to get to. It’s also right across the street from the harbour and the view is quite nice.
I ordered an eggs benedict and my seat just happened to face the kitchen and I got to watch them prepare the entire dish. It was a cool experience and definitely highlights the amount of effort they put into every meal. The chef seemed very focused at ensuring a pleasant presentation.
The highlight of the meal was the lychee mimosa. I’ve never even heard of it before but it tastes exactly like it sounds like and it was super super good. Definitely would recommend it!”
“We stopped by 6 Degrees Eatery for brunch during our bike ride along the seawall and it didn’t disappoint. During covid and outdoor seating only, you go inside and order first and you can sit at any available table. After you order, they will give you a number and then will bring your food and drinks to you. The only had a limited menu list when we were there as a lot of their items were already sold out. We got the Fishing-for-a-Compliment which was a smoked salmon and avocado benny and it was done quite deliciously! I wished they had more of their menu available which just means we’ll need to go back.”

“Stopped by here after a nice bike ride around the seawall. We got the fruity waffle which was jam packed with fresh, sweet, well-picked fruit. The place is a bit small and was pretty busy when we stopped by, but the turn around time is pretty quick and we didn’t wait very long to be seated. Besides the food, the staff were amazing. They made our visit so enjoyable and were all just genuinely nice people. Would totally go back and would definitely recommend.” – M H
