Situated along Granville St., Breathe is something between a high-end spa and a cosmetic clinic. We say this since these folks provide standard spa services such as facials, and mani-pedis along with more cosmetic procedures like dental cleaning and needling.
For facial services, clients can choose from 5 different options with varying levels of skin treatments. Their basic option takes around 20 minutes and includes facial cleansing, steam therapy, and a facial massage.
In contrast, Breathe’s signature facial takes an hour and a half to complete. But, in exchange for a longer appointment, clients receive additional treatments such as extractions, oxygenation, facial masks, and an application of creams and oils.

SKN is a cosmetic clinic that focuses on blending natural cosmetic products with next-level skincare offerings. One of the best examples of this unique combination is SKN’s HydraFacial treatment.
The HydraFacial treatment uses specialized products to painlessly extract dirt, blackheads, and even built-up pus from acne. In the clinic’s words, “there’s no pinching and you (clients) actually see what has been removed from your skin”.
Despite this unique approach to facials, we’ve found that most clients are particularly pleased with SKN’s ambiance. This is due to the fact that the clinic’s interior makes use of dim lights, monotone color schemes, and wooden furniture to produce a relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, SKN is an excellent option for clients who want to explore a mixture of natural cosmetics and high-tech therapy. With several facial treatments to choose from, the clinic is also capable of catering to various skin types.
Although SKN seems similar to one of our entries, we’d like to stress that it differs in its use of natural products and high-tech facial therapy. Along with this, the establishment also carries a more “spa-like” appearance compared to other clinics.

Based on their extensive collection of equipment and offered services, Formula Fig is one of the most high-tech facial spas on our list. To keep things simple these folks divide their services into two categories consisting of injectables, and facials.
For facials in particular clients can choose from 8 different services involving everything from light therapy to microdermabrasion, and even electro facial therapy. By offering so many different facials, Fig is able to help a wider variety of clients.
Upon examining the reviews left by previous visitors, it seems that Fig has indeed helped many people achieve results with their modern equipment. In particular, many clients are extremely pleased with fig’s “All in” facial which includes microcurrents, light therapy, and extractions.
It’s worth noting that because Fig uses such high-tech equipment, many facials can be quite costly. So, to make its services more affordable the spa offers memberships which come with reduced prices for all services.

Our only concern for clients would be the general vibe of the establishment’s interior spaces. As a clinic, this place carries less of a “spa feeling” than what some clients may be accustomed to.
