Oakridge Pediatrics’ Dr. Paul Korn earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia in 1979.
We thought it was impressive that he was the division head for general pediatrics at UBC for over 15 years, as this demonstrates his expertise.
Additionally, he worked as the medical director of the emergency department for five years at the BC Children’s Hospital.
What we liked best about this clinic is that they have easily accessible questionnaire forms on their website, which we believe helps parents and children become more aware of what they require.
Most of these forms involve assessments to determine early signs of disorders or illnesses such as anxiety, ADHD, and many more.
Another plus is that they have a large team of pediatricians. This, in our opinion, allows them to accommodate multiple patients at the same time.
Unfortunately, they will require a doctor’s referral before scheduling an appointment with you. It should also be noted that if you haven’t seen your pediatrician in over 6 months, a re-referral is required.
However, we liked that they don’t charge any cancellation fees for no show or last-minute cancellations.
All in all, we believe Dr. Paul Korn of Oakridge Pediatrics is one of the best pediatricians in Vancouver, backed up by his extensive experience in the field.
