Greg Stirett, the founder of Rebel Sleep Institute, has had substantial experience leading sleep and respiratory organizations.
He believes that fatigue and exhaustion shouldn’t only be addressed through CPAP therapy and a wide range of evidence-based fatigue solutions.
Rebel Sleep Institute’s fatigue and sleep apnea management programs include one or a combination of CPAP, oral appliance therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, lifestyle coaching, and many more.
What we liked the most about this establishment were its free fatigue awareness seminars. This program, in our opinion, helps people understand the signs of early fatigue to identify them early on.
Before making an appointment with them, it’s best to speak with your physician first, as this company requires a prescription for home sleep apnea testing.
While we believe this is somehow inconvenient, we appreciate their thoroughness because they believe fatigue has many causes and must be appropriately addressed by your physician.
Nonetheless, we think it’s convenient that they offer flexible payment terms so that all patients can get the help they need without worrying about money.
On a whole, Rebel Sleep Institute is one of the best sleep clinics in Vancouver as they offer comprehensive fatigue and sleep apnea management programs.

Patient and dedicated staff
“Rebel staff were very helpful and patience. It was my first time to do sleep test and get a cpap machine. I had no idea about these things. They explained step by step. We tried few different cpap machines and finally got the best cpap machine with my sleep diagnosis/0”pattern. Moreover, they helped me with my insurance to fill out some paperworks so I didn’t need to worry about it. I highly recommend! They are very dedicated to patients who want to have a good night sleep!.” -Yourim L.
Professional and takes feedback seriously
“I’ve been a CPAP user for a bit over 5 years at this point. My experience with other CPAP suppliers has been very transactional, like going to get groceries. The folks at Rebel Sleep really opened my eyes to what level of service I can expect from my CPAP supplier. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable in both my sleep apena and the selection of equipment. Moreover, they go above and beyond to make sure my CPAP treatment is working and effective, not just “numbers look good don’t worry”. They take every piece of feedback seriously and go out of their way to try and find a solution. Special shout out to Rubina, she’s been a huge help in the process! And honestly, even though I’ve been on CPAP treatment for over half a decade, I still learned a ton from her. Keep up the good work Rebel Sleep! I look forward to working with your staff in the years to come.” -Yue L.

Life-changing and effective services
“Dr. Sharnell Muir and her Certified Dental and Administrative Assistant, Bita Behroozynia, make for an incredible team. They clearly have a great working dynamic and you can feel the positive energy in their offices. A veritable dream team! This is a nice place to be. I was recently referred to Dr. Muir after being diagnosed with “mild to moderate” sleep apnea (or “high mild” as it was termed), to see if I might be a candidate for a dental appliance as opposed to having to go the CPAP route. Thankfully, it turned out that I WAS a candidate and I couldn’t be more pleased nor could my partner as we now enjoy a quiet bedroom every night and each of us gets a wonderful night’s sleep. No more snoring and no more apneas! Most importantly, no more worrying about how my previously-obstructed airway was negatively impacting my health. This is a really important investment in one’s health and overall quality of life. I no longer wake up draggy and I have more energy in my 6am workout classes (Orange Theory Fitness) and throughout the day at work. This has been life-changing for my partner and me. Dr. Muir and Bita do a great job of properly educating you on all that you need to know about the condition and about the appliance. Both are extremely nice and genuinely helpful. Sharnell and Bita, I can’t thank you enough. I know that I’m in excellent hands. Much appreciated!.” -Derek G.
